Otkritie FC Bank to give UMMC 13 bln rbl loan for upgrading

MOSCOW, Dec 10 (PRIME) -- Otkritie Financial Corporation (FC) Bank has opened a 12.8 billion ruble 8-year credit line to an affiliate of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC), the bank said in a statement Friday. 

Svyatogor, the affiliate, will use the funds to upgrade its blister copper facility in order to use a modern, more environmentally safe technology Ausmelt that will increase the capacity to 110,000 tonnes per year from 80,000 tonnes.
